Foreign Ministry: Two Czechs detained in Crete released on bail

Czech authorities are arranging the return of two Czech men who were detained in Crete on Friday searching an archaeological site in the west of the island with metal detectors and released on bail on Tuesday, Irena Valentova, the Czech Foreign Ministry's spokeswoman, has told CTK.

Man tries to rob Prague firearms shop, fatally shot

A man attacked a sales clerk in a firearms shop he wanted to rob, but the clerk's colleague shot him and the attacker died in hospital afterwards, the Prague police write on their website about an incident that occurred in the city's centre on Monday.
